Jane M. Pemberton, MD

MY PHILOSOPHY | BACKGROUND

I have had the honor of being a family physician for over 20 years. My life’s work has evolved as I have gained experience and sought out skills that are meaningful to me. I am interested in providing a supportive presence and experienced sounding board for my patients. My vision of traditional family medicine is as an empowering partnership. People see a physician or health practitioner for a myriad of reasons. They may be ill, they may feel well, they may be drawn to seek for help for many reasons. I offer what I know, what I perceive and what the options are; together we collaborate to create a plan of care.

Jane Pemberton, MD

I believe in the intrinsic healing properties of the body. I have trained in a variety of bodywork techniques, and am primarily interested in the integration of cranial osteopathy into the day to day practice of medicine. I am interested in mind body medicine, counseling, and being of service to the interpersonal growth of my patients. When desirable and appropriate, longer sessions may be scheduled for treatments.

I have experience in all areas of family medicine, pediatrics, gynecology, womens health, psychiatric care, and general medical issues. I enjoy taking care of whole families.
